Heavy Duty Indeed!

This is by far the best pair of snap ring pliers I own. The tips are very tough, come in a variety of sizes and can be rotated to meet the needed angle of approach.I bought these pliers because the ones I had couldn’t remove a particularly strong snap ring on a motorcycle drive shaft – these got it done on the first try. Putting a new ring back on was just as easy. The handles rotate to go from an internal to external configuration easily enough but at the same time lock into place and stay put when using the tool.This really is a quality tool that will outlast whatever car you’re using this on – it’s the best pair of snap ring pliers on Amazon.Bonus Points: Made in the USA.

ok for medium to small rings

The pliers are cleverly built and looked like a good product, but the center is made out of cast iron and when trying to squeeze a 3″ snap ring the cast iron rounded off and left the pliers useless. Perhaps if you were using them on 1″ or smaller rings they would be a good tool to have in your box.

A handy and adaptable snap ring tool for the snap rings that break the tips of other more easily available tools for the same purpose. I have no regrets over paying around $50 for these; worth that in frustration avoided.
